Erasmus + project – Zahlandia: Developing Games for Learning Mathematics Together
From 30 September to 2 October, our teachers participated in an international project meeting in the Azores, where they met with project partners and contributed to the ongoing development of the Zahlandia project. During the meeting, they had the opportunity to try out new prototypes of digital mathematics games, test their functionality, and share their observations and suggestions for improvement. Teachers’ feedback is an important part of the development process, helping to shape games that will be more accessible, engaging, and user-friendly for students.Based on the comments and suggestions collected, the prototypes are now being further refined and improved, with the aim of creating the best possible user experience. The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the next steps in the project and plan further collaboration among the partners. We look forward to trying out the updated versions of the games with students in the lower grades of our school soon. Their experiences and reactions will be valuable in the continued development of digital activities designed to make learning mathematics more accessible, engaging, and enjoyable.Zahlandia continues to bring teachers, technology, and play together to create new learning opportunities!
